SEARCHING FOR A TRAINER IN ANOTHER LOCATION?
We are sure you will find a trainer near you at one or all of these sites:
BEHAVIORISTS
A number of trainers, not on our recommended list, will use the title “behaviorist” without appropriate credentials or experience. The behaviorists listed below are either veterinarians who specialize in behavior issues and can prescribe medication or an Associate Certified Applied Animal Behaviorist (ACAAB). However, our recommended trainers can all give you advice and guidance on behavior issues. You may want to meet with a trainer first to decide if you need to see a behaviorist. Also check our handouts under “behavior issues” for an overview of many of the problems you may be facing.
