MEET LESLIE BREITINGER, DVM

I grew up in Florida where I spent a large portion of my childhood riding horses and pursuing activities related to animals.  I initially gained exposure to veterinary medicine by volunteering at a local small animal clinic and was fortunate to have the opportunity to spend a short time with a production animal veterinarian abroad.  After attending Cornell University’s College of Veterinary Medicine in New York and obtaining my veterinary degree in 2011, I focused on equine practice in the Maryland and Virginia areas for a few years.  Family, lifestyle, and shifting interests led me to transition into small animal medicine.  In 2019, I pursued training in Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine to provide alternative and integrative treatment options for dogs, cats, and horses.  Joining Kingsbrook Animal Hospital in 2021 was an exciting step towards continuing a rewarding career, helping animals of all sizes live the best life possible.
