I have always had a love for all creatures and always knew I wanted to work with animals for as long as I can remember. I’m a military brat and have lived all over the world. I started officially working with animals in Yokosuka, Japan in 1998 where I volunteered as the Vice President of the local animal shelter and assisted local veterinarians at the Veterinary Treatment Facility at Yokosuka Naval Base.
I truly love my job, and live for what I do. I have always had a special connection to animals, and I feel that by advocating for them I am able to give back what they give to so many. I’ve taken a special interest in diagnostic imaging, and love to learn anything I can about radiology and ultrasound. My future goals consist of obtaining a vet tech specialty in clinical practice, so that I can continue to provide the best to the animals in our care.
I currently have 3 dogs (Hubert, Barret, and Arlo), 5 cats (Carlisle, Pismo, Eliza, Lil, and Frankie), a bunch of chickens and ducks, 4 goats (Charlotte, Heidi, Ross and Gretchen), a bunny (BunBun), geckos, snakes, and a red tailed hawk (Lottie).
I share my love for animals with my husband (Sean) and my 3 kiddos (Monika, Bronson, and Kynlee). My hobbies include professional photography, birding, hiking, camping, scuba diving, and falconry.
I joined the Kingsbrook team in August of 2011 and feel very fortunate to be here. I’m proud to be a part of such a loving, compassionate group and look forward to years to come.
