I have been with KAH since Nov 2022. I love it here so much! I love seeing all of the clients coming in but I especially love seeing the patients! I became a Client Service Representative because I have always had a love for animals. To me, they aren’t just pets, they are family.
My goal with every patient visit is to make sure everyone feels welcome and greeted. I love helping things go smoothly for the patient and their humans.
I am originally from Arkansas. My background has been in totally different things such as Private Investigating and Law Enforcement, among others. I had to make a big change after sustaining a permanent injury.
I knew I had a consistent passion for animals. I looked for a place where I could find a new career, not just a job. I did a lot of research. I read a lot of reviews. I applied to KAH and became even more impressed when I toured their facility. KAH has the tools necessary to help animals, a team with the knowledge to find out what’s going on with a sick pet, and a standard of service that I hadn’t seen before in all the vets I’ve used through the years. Everyone made me feel welcome, and the professionalism was exactly what I was looking for in a home.
My husband Nate and I live in Mt Airy, MD with our furry kids (cats) Little Guy (17 years old) and Buffy (2 years old). In my free time I do special effects makeup, make masks, and some props and costuming. I also do cake and cupcake decorating. Something interesting about me is that I have been a vegetarian for 25 years as of 2024!
