Ranee Baker, RVT
Ranee with husband, Terry, and their two basenjiis, Cricket & Kylie

My name is Ranee and I am a registered veterinary technician (RVT). I hold a degree in veterinary medical technology from Wilson College and a subsequent degree in business management from Frederick Community College.

I have worked in private practice since 1995 and spent 3 years at Fort Detrick working as a registered laboratory animal technician (RLAT) before coming to Kingsbrook in the fall of 2003. I have an interest in exotic medicine (especially rabbits and rodents) and dentistry and strive to keep up to date on the latest medical advances in these areas.

I have been an active volunteer in my community for many years. You may have talked to me at the Frederick County Humane Society's Walk-N-Wag or the First Gallery Walk. I may have assisted you at a county rabies and microchip clinic or recovered your pet after surgery at the Animal Welfare League's spay and neuter clinic. I have also visited local elementary schools and vacation bible schools to teach children about veterinary medicine.

I live in Hagerstown with my husband, my two Basenji's and a chinchilla. I look forward to meeting you and your pets and will treat each one with the compassion and respect as if it were my own.
