I have worked in the veterinary field since 2002 and I joined the Kingsbrook Animal Hospital team in the summer of 2007. I am very excited to be working at this wonderful hospital and with such a fantastic group of animal lovers.

I am a life-long resident of Maryland having grown up in Rockville and Gaithersburg and now live in Jefferson. I spent 20 years raising my three children: James (23), Scott (21), and Jillian (18). With them grown I decided to look for something else to do. Working with animals was a natural choice and it has been very rewarding. I have always loved animals but I have a special interest in dogs, especially Westies and Yorkies. Over the years I have been involved in Westie rescue and I now do what I can to help support several no-kill shelters as well as puppy mill rescue.

In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my husband, Scott; reading, calligraphy, sewing, movies, and naturally, anything to do with dogs. My Yorkie, Chloe, my Westie, Keely, and my Lab, Shiloh, keep me busy too.
